CERTIFICATED COURSE

Joint Award with REHIS

Method of Delivery

The course is delivered in a 3 hour workshop format using the Allergy training Stage 1 DVD Pack, together with a short slide presentation, two group activities, group discussion and FAQs and a multiple choice assessment with 15 questions each with 4 possible answers.

The pass mark is 9/15 or 60%. In addition to the core material, delegates will do activities for Schools, Nurseries, Care homes or Food businesses depending on where they work. Candidates who pass the assessment will be awarded a certificate under the Joint Award 004/2011 of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland(REHIS).

  • Multiple Choice Assessment with review

Tutors delivering this course are trained and updated regularly by Hazel Gowland of Allergy Action.

They recognise the particular sensitivities and ethical aspects of delivering the course and keep up to date with the latest food allergy news.
